It would take a pretty sweet opportunity for me to leave what was a pretty good situation at Microsoft. Despite the fact that I was unhappy with my role, with some patience, I may have been able to eventually landed elsewhere in the company. But when an opportunity like the one at Strategies 360 presented itself, I had to jump all over it. Needless to say I’m thrilled to be joining Strategies 360 as their new VP of Marketing & Social Media. In addition to being everything and more in a role for me, it’s a fantastic organization doing very exciting work. I felt something special within a few minutes of my first interview, and that’s only been reaffirmed since then. I will be tasked with building the social media offering and team at Strategies 360 and have officially started this week. S360 is a strategic communications firm offering a full-team approach to marketing, government relations, business strategy, creative services and public relations. I really look forward to working with clients outside the normal b2b and b2c environments I have traditionally worked with, and nothing is more exciting to me then the opportunity to build something from the ground up. I will continue to use my personal blog to share my experiences in these new exciting times as much as time permits. For those interested in learning more about S360, you can visit our company website here, facebook, or twitter.
